Family Support + Advocacy Associate

Joanna provides family support and educational advocacy at Hear Indiana. As a parent of a child who is profoundly deaf, Joanna is particularly passionate about empowering families with knowledge and resources. Her lived experiences allow her to relate even more to our families at Hear Indiana. When she’s not working with the Hear Indiana team, Joanna serves as the Teacher of the Deaf for a local education agency near her home in Attica. She enjoys spending time with her family and being outside in the sunshine.
